The procession about to enter the cemetery led by Bro. Bob Raby

Meridian Lodge has just completed a service event in honor of our founders. Eleven of the thirteen founders have their final resting place in The East Cemetery right off of East Main St. in Meriden, CT. In their honor, the lodge embarked upon a clean up project where all the brothers got together in order to pick up brush and trees and weed whack some areas that needed a little TLC. You can watch the video from that day here.

The following week WM Nicholas A. Valinsky held a memorial service where the historical society, along with the Grand Master, came to celebrate the founders and remember their contribution. Check it out here!

We also were covered in the Record-Journal newspaper. They later followed up with an editorial on the project. It was a great day for our lodge!
